Meet the Artists
Thomas Ferns
Thomas is ZINK Tattoo's owner and lead artist. He developed his skills as an artist from a young age, through school and then at the University of the West of Scotland where he obtained a degree in Graphic Design. Having always dreamt of being a tattoo artist, he initially followed a career in retail management. The tattoo bug, however, persisted and a career change followed. Soon after starting as an apprentice at a studio in Glasgow, Thomas progressed to a junior artist there where he honed his skills in black and grey realism as he worked towards becoming a professional artist. The creation of ZINK is the fulfilment of a lifelong ambition for Thomas, with his passion for tattooing now thriving in his very own studio.

Kasia Baluta
Kasia has been tattooing for eight years, and thoroughly enjoys both colour work and black and grey. She specialises in delicate mandala, geometric and fine line work. She would love to expand her portfolio with more colour realism pieces.

John Gregory
John is our apprentice tattoo artist, and has been at ZINK since 2024. He has made great progress and is working hard towards becoming a junior artist. He is currently focusing on line work, shading techniques. He also has a great catalogue of flash designs available.
